Pore Cleansing Must Haves!

I’ve been meaning to do a post on this for a while but somehow never realty got around to it. On average, I clean my pores twice a week. If my skin is a bit oiler or I see more build up than usual, I’ll clean it three to four times a week. My nose area is constantly struggling with white heads. Cleaning it one day will result in build-up a few days later. I simply routinely cleanse the area to prevent my pores from being enlarged. It’s also good to remove any substances that are blocking your pores before it develops into a pimple.

Sephora Collection the Weekender Makeup Travel Bag Review

I travel a lot both for work and leisure thus I'm a sucker for anything that will make my trips easier. Those handing makeup and toiletry organizer have been around for quite some time but most of them are simply too big and the compartments did not match my needs. I came across this Sephora one by accident and I thought I should share with you guys this awesome travel organization find!

IOPE Bio Essence Intensive Conditioning Review: SKII Essence Comparison

It has been half an year since my last post update. I apologize for abandoning this blog for so long. The so called Daily Dose initiative has turned into a biannual one. Some important changes have taken place in my professional life. I have relocated to a new city and will be facing new challenges at a different job that should be slightly less stressful but again, it's challenging in different ways. Luckily, I have some time off during this summer before the hectic phase begins once more. Meanwhile, I will be able to maintain more frequent and steady updates.

I have found a new love. Ever since I started using the SKII intensive care toners or whatever they are supposed to be classified as have made a permanent spot in my skincare routine. They are absolutely refreshing and effective at helping my skin restore its conditions overnight. A few years ago, I splurged on a bottle of SKII Essence and have been using it everyday since. There a few Asian brands that have launched products in this category that claims to do similar things. I never really wanted to try any since I am so pleased with the SKII Essence and believe it's worth the price. In the beginning of 2014, I was gifted the IOPE Deep Conditioning, which is produced by Amor Pacific. IOPE is the slightly pricier and more scientific feeling brand within the giant company portfolio.

Beat the Cold: Best Winter Skincare || Sexy Body

Do not neglect the skin on your body during the colder months of the year. They are equally important as the skin on your face and will give away your age despite your efforts in maintaining your visage. Make time for yourself and just do the following basics.

Beat the Cold: Best Winter Skincare || Facials

I think winter skin might be one of the biggest beauty problems that I have to deal with. Especially when that time of the month brings about breakouts and the healing process leads to unfortunate redness and worst of all, flakiness. Over the years, I have narrowed my winter skincare items into 6 general must-have categories.

Shiseido Eye Moisture Recharge Review: Newest Member of My Skincare

I've always had eye creams for extremely bad days and then ones for regular use. About half a year ago, I started separating my regular day eye cream from my regular night eye cream. However, I had some trouble finding the right regular night one. After months of testing, this may very much be the one.

My Daily Makeup Removing Routine: Get You Squeaky Clean

I often mark the end of a long work day by coming home and taking all of my makeup off. Proper cleansing is essential to maintaining the health of your skin and a hassle free procedure will help you maintain such a routine.

Shu Uenmura Cleansing Oils Review: Fresh, Green Tea & Brightening

This has been a part of my skincare routine since I was in high school. I use it religiously every night and it has made big differences for maintaining the clarity of my skin for it removes the makeup and dirty that your face comes to contact with everyday like no other. This is a brief overview of the three types I've been using throughout the years.

L'Occitane Mom & Baby Lotion: A Summer Favorite!

I've mostly used Olay lotions since I go through them rather quickly but lately my skin has gotten a bit drier due to all the shaving and the sun. The heat also makes most average moisturizers a little sticky after application. The problem with pump bottles is that you can't get everything out towards the end and drug store lotions in particular are very sneaky about this. I was really sick of dealing with a pump that will leave out 1/4 of the bottle and it's a pain to get the remaining lotion out. Luckily, I stumbled across this new favorite a few weeks back!

L'Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate Review: Favorite Nut Scent

I am quite a L'Occitane fan. So far I haven't come across a bad product in their collection (of course there are average ones that make you really reconsider the price you are paying) and have found quite a few favorites. The Almond Milk collection has the best nut scent I've come across and the Concentrate is definitely worth a small splurge.

SKII Facial Treatment Essence: The Miracle Water

This is sort of a part 2 to my previous SKII rave. Yes, I'm finally going to review the famous Essence for people under 25 with combinations skin.

Clinique 3 Step System Review

Sorry for being gone for so long but my summer is kind of all over the place right now. It's supposed to be the time of the year when I have sufficient me time but it doesn't seem to be happening.
I am back with a review on a classic skincare system! I am somewhere between Skin Type II and III. It's not a pricy system but it's not exactly cheap either.

SKII Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Review: Skincare Essential!

Today I'm going to share with you one of my skincare regimen must haves. This product has been around for ages and it's no big secret but most people my age tend to overlook the brand because it is generally associated with anti-aging. This is a perfect product for those of you with combination skin. I believe it will be an effective product for people with oily skin as well.

Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Therapy La Source Review

I am big about using hand creams. All the time. There is a giant bottle by my sink, a travel sized tube in every single bag and numerous tubes all around the house. I like to keep one by my nightstand, on my desk, somewhere near the living room sofas etc. Bottom line, I can't live without hand cream and I am very picky about which ones I use.

Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask: Favorite Pore Cleansing Mask

I am big about pore cleansing because I suffer from clogged pores in my T-zone. From blackheads, and white heads to barely there clogging. They are all my enemies. Due to my skin type, it's a constant battle, probably for life. A proper cleanse this week will be eagerly followed by newly clogged pores the next. There is no end to this. However, over the course of this time, I have found several effective products that will help you through the process. The Origins mask is one of them.

Estee Lauder DayWear Anti-Oxidant Creme Oil-Free Review

I am a big fan of Estee Lauder skincare. Quite a few of my staples are all made by them so I figured I can't really go wrong with their other ranges. Since I am getting older, a good day time antioxidant is becoming more and more of an necessity. I wanted something that will protect my skin from the elements while providing good moisture.

Lancome Bi-Facil Double Action Review: A Must Have!

This is an all time classic that should be in everyone's cleansing kit. I've never come across another makeup remover with such amazing makeup removing properties. Despite it's strong performance, it is also really gentle on the skin and eyes. In addition, it's super easy to wash off.

Summer Hair Removal: Bikini Area & Underarms

I love white/cream bikinis. They just look absolutely gorgeous against tanned skin but they are also difficult to wear because most often you have to be bare down there for everything to work out. Let's be honest, I hate waxing/shaving down there. It's such a tricky and problematic area. The same problems tend to show up in the underarm region as well. Here are some tips I've gathered over the years of bikini wearing.

Summer is the season where all those little skin imperfections and furs have no place to hide. Let's start this series with an obvious basic, your legs. Here are a few ways to get them silky smooth if you still haven't found your preferred method.
