Ever since the release of YSL Touche Eclat, there has been dozens of new releases in similar packaging. I finally made the leap and purchased The Retoucher. This is actually rather different from the Touche Eclat in terms of what it does. A common misconception with the original is that people believe it's a concealer, but it's actually a highlighter that hides imperfections using light with minor pigmentation coverage. The Retoucher actually has sufficient pigmentation to cover imperfections and also reflect light in a manner that gives you a healthy glow.

My Fast Minimalist Makeup Routine: Busy Morning Tips
Over the years I have perfected my fast morning routine to these essential items. Even though I blog about makeup, I don't wear a full face on daily basis for both practical and professional reasons. Here's a list of my favorite items that will get you that quick fresh look.

Liquid Corrector Comparisons: Nars vs. Giorgio Armani vs. Bobbi Brown
I started my search for a good liquid under eye corrector last fall. The typical creams are highly effective but they are also rather cakey and settle into lines that otherwise you would have never noticed before. The choices were narrowed down to the following:

Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener in Light to Medium Peach Review: New Favorite for Under Eye Rescue!
I loved the Bobbi Brown corrector in Light Peach. It did wonders for my worst mornings but it had one fatal defect. It creased constantly under my eyes and I'm not even over 25. When the first edition of the Eye Brightener was released, I wasn't too interested in the click pen packaging and the products was more of a touch up corrector than what I was looking for. When it got repackaged, I feel that the formulation/shades changed a little as well. Things altered into exactly what I wanted: a lighter liquid version of the famous pot corrector.

Giorgio Armani Master Corrector in #1 Review:
I wanted to try this for a long time but there are no Giorgio Armani counters located near by and I wasn't motivated enough to go anywhere further away just to test it out. Due to my recent search for a liquid under eye corrector, I've been testing a whole bunch of products and nothing really impressed me so I placed an order.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Honey Review
Recently I purchased this concealer in the hopes of finding a Bobbi Brown corrector replacement that doesn't crease. I absolutely love BB correctors and the shade selection is amazing but it just creases too much and doesn't go with my busy lifestyle. There is so much rave about Nars's new concealer so I decided to give it a try.

10 Face Products That Don't Work For Me
I've been doing a little reflection on all the face products that I've used since I started wearing makeup. Most of my purchases have been successful and I have enjoyed them very much but there are always a few that proved to be quite disastrous.

Stick Concealers Review: Touch Up On the Go
I was a big fan of stick concealer for years due to my super high paced life. Now that things have mellowed down a little, I gave them a rest but I still carry one in my bag at all times. They are perfect for touch ups on the go due to their slim packaging, light weight and mess free formula. You simply can't mess up with these.

Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light Peach Review
Correctors are the answer to instant dark circle coverage, not overloading concealers. Bobbi Brown is well known for its concealing items and this is one of their star products. So how well does it work?

Makeup Forever Full Cover Concealer in #5 Vanilla Review
This is my reliable heavy duty concealer. It's not heavy duty enough to cover up tattoos or anything but it performs reasonably well without sacrificing too much of the fluid application feel. The last thing you want is a heavy concealer melting off your face on a hot summer day. If you are looking for a super resistant, full coverage concealer to help you survive the hot humid summer days, this is the one!

Shiseido Natural Finish Cream Concealer in #2 Review
| Courtesy of Bing |
I think I may have found my multi-purpose concealer of the season! I have a lot of concealers, but only a few actually make it to my permanent basket of things. If I can only have one makeup item, it would be a good concealer. Since summer is approaching, I've been looking for a longer lasting one to fight the heat, humidity & perspiration.
