Quick Prep: Greek Yogurt with Honey & Almonds

This is one of my all time favorite breakfast/brunch items and summer snacks. An all time Greek classic. It's super easy to make and extremely healthy. A small bowl will keep your full until lunch time and away from all those snacks that you told yourself not to eat.

What you will need:
  • Plain Greek yogurt (I prefer the whole milk version, the denser the better)
  • Your favorite honey

  • A few gently roasted almonds (unsalted)
    • Reduces risk of heart attach, control cholesterol, promotes strong bones & teeth, helps with weight loss, nourishes nervous system, alkalizes the body

  • Or some walnuts!
    • Excellent source of omega 3 (brain food! It kind of looks like one...), vitamin B, vitamin E, magnesium, zinc, potassium, copper, calcium iron etc.

I always choose almonds over walnuts but there are those days when I feel I need something a little different. You can add more to the mix but the idea behind this is to keep things simple but delicious and healthy.
