Liquid Corrector Comparisons: Nars vs. Giorgio Armani vs. Bobbi Brown

I started my search for a good liquid under eye corrector last fall. The typical creams are highly effective but they are also rather cakey and settle into lines that otherwise you would have never noticed before. The choices were narrowed down to the following:

  1. Nars Radiant Cream Concealer in Honey (read review here)
  • Rich and creamy
  • Hardly any creasing
  • Relatively good pigmentation
  • Rather long lasting but nothing impressive
  • It broke me out and caused pimples in my eye area
  1. Giorgio Armani Master Corrector in #1 (read review here)
  • Super lightweight and easy to blend
  • No creasing
  • Highly pigmented
  • Long lasting
  • Very limited color selection
  1. Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener in Light to Medium Peach (read review here)
  • On the creamier side but lighter in weight than the Nars
  • Minimal creasing
  • Relatively good pigmentation
  • Rather long lasting
  • Less effective than the cream version
Dim light: BB, Nars, GA

Natural light: GA, Nars, BB

I ended up using the Bobbi Brown one. If only GA had kept the yellow version of the corrector, I would have found a great match. The GA is by far superior in formulation, and a little goes a long way so the initial high price ends up being cheaper per use than you think. Unfortunately, non of the two colors that they now offer works for me.
