Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener in Light to Medium Peach Review: New Favorite for Under Eye Rescue!

I loved the Bobbi Brown corrector in Light Peach. It did wonders for my worst mornings but it had one  fatal defect. It creased constantly under my eyes and I'm not even over 25. When the first edition of the Eye Brightener was released, I wasn't too interested in the click pen packaging and the products was more of a touch up corrector than what I was looking for. When it got repackaged, I feel that the formulation/shades changed a little as well. Things altered into exactly what I wanted: a lighter liquid version of the famous pot corrector.

Bobbi Brown now allows free shipping and returns for their basic face products such as foundation, correctors, concealers and powders. I think this is a big step for them since very often the average consumer can feel lost and uncertain of whether they are making the right choices while shopping for things to match they skin online.

One thing to note is that the shades are not exactly the same as the pots. I used to have the cream version in Light Peach and I was matched to the Light to Medium Peach in the liquid version. It's yellower than the cream version which had more of a salmon tint to it. When blended in, there isn't much of a difference so I suppose this change will not affect that many people.

Top: straight from tube, Bottom: blended

What I like:
  • Much less creasing than the cream version
  • Convenient packaging
  • Great color match & selection
  • Creamy & moisturizing
  • Blends nicely

What I don't like:
  • Slight creasing at the end of the day
  • Not as pigmented as the cream version (not great for really bad sleepless mornings). I kind of wish this was as pigmented as the Giorgio Armani Master Corrector.

Overall, I am pleased with this product and have been using it on a daily basis. It's a keeper! I will be posting a more detailed comparison post later next week on the three liquid correctors that I have been testing.
